About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations and provide a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. The role moves between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setups according to store needs. Work takes place in a structured, team-based environment focused on efficiency, operational execution, and high standards for customer service, product quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 lbs.
Ability to reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas such as bakery and produce to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas, ensuring products meet quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and professionally resolve or escalate customer issues.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment for team members and customers.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
