About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although part-time and full-time positions generally focus on merchandising, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities. The role is internally referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The work may include delivery duties if delivery is added as an essential job function. Compensation is $14.31–$20.03 per hour; the actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage and may vary based on factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to three years of experience; one or more years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services.
Drive and make deliveries if assigned, loading and delivering orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws.
Greet customers, build relationships, provide personalized service, and inform customers about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
