About The Position

The Stocking / Fulfillment Associate, internally referred to as a Merchandiser, supports store merchandising and online business operations by maximizing product inventory and helping provide a positive shopping experience. The role may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. It reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal position expected to last no longer than six months. The associate may apply for a non-seasonal role. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, repeatedly bend down, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, engage with them to build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
