Seasonal Stocking / Fulfillment Associate
About The Position
All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to help ensure a positive shopping experience. While merchandising is the primary focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours a day.
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
- Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services.
- If assigned, drive and make deliveries, loading and delivering orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws.
- Greet customers, engage with them to build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
- Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
- Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
