About The Position

Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal position expected to last no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The work includes stocking and merchandising products, fulfilling online orders, assisting with pickup and delivery services, and providing customers with product information and a positive shopping experience. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to varying outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, provide personalized service, and inform customers about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
