About The Position

All Store Team Members contribute to the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is generally the focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the role is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months; team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position may include fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services. If delivery is added as an essential job function, the associate may load and deliver orders and make deliveries in accordance with company procedures and traffic and safety laws.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on your feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One or more years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, engage with them to build relationships, and provide information about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other assigned duties.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies and procedures and applicable traffic and safety laws.
