About The Position

The Stocker is an hourly position responsible for stocking groceries and servicing customers by maintaining the Farm retail stand in conformance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures. This is a long-term position with possible year-round employment and growth potential.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must possess strong work ethic.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• Some stocking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point of sales systems preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and attentive service to customers by answering questions, directing them to products, and keeping the Farm stand clean and orderly. Stays familiar with retail layout and products.
• Responsible for maintaining and stocking product displays. Ensures products are properly rotated, organized, stocked, labeled and clean.
• Communicates to Market Manager or Assistant Manager when low on/out of product.
• Responsible for keeping the retail facilities clean and organized. Removes trash and recycling, sweeps floors, and dusts display areas.
• May assist with other duties as needed such as bagging groceries, sweeping, organizing and cart retrieval.
