About The Position

The Stocker plays a critical role in maintaining the organization and availability of products within a retail or warehouse environment. This position ensures that shelves and storage areas are consistently stocked with merchandise, facilitating a seamless shopping experience for customers and efficient operations for the business. The Stocker is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory, as well as monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Ultimately, the Stocker contributes to the overall success of the store by supporting inventory management and enhancing customer satisfaction through product availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
• Basic reading and math skills to understand labels, inventory counts, and instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Previous experience in retail stocking, warehouse operations, or inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Organize and stock merchandise on shelves, racks, or storage areas according to company standards and planograms.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the stockroom and sales floor, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Assist customers and team members by locating products and providing information as needed.
