Part Time Stocker

About The Position

The Stocker unloads store trucks and stocks, faces, and rotates merchandise as needed. The role also involves working through backstock, keeping the backroom organized and clean, building displays, and recording product damages and credits. Stockers remove trash and cardboard from stocking areas and may load and operate a cardboard baler; baler operation is limited to employees who are 18 or older. Overnight Stockers may also be assigned Floor keeper duties. These include regular stocking work, cleaning store floors and restrooms during the overnight shift at intervals set by Management, and regularly checking fluids and filters in powered cleaning equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Basic mathematics, including counting.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, reach, reach above the shoulder, twist, bend or stoop, squat, kneel, and climb.

Responsibilities

Unload store trucks.
Stock, face, and rotate merchandise as needed.
Work through backstock.
Keep the backroom organized and clean.
Build displays.
Report and record product damages and credits.
Remove trash and cardboard from stocking areas.
Load and operate the cardboard baler, if 18 or older.
For overnight assignments, perform Floor keeper duties, including cleaning floors and restrooms during the overnight shift and checking fluids and filters in powered cleaning equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
