About The Position

Hall's Hardware, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is hiring a Stocker/Load Builder at its Milton, Florida location. This hands-on role supports customers and store operations by helping customers find products, preparing and loading materials for transport, organizing the yard, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory. The position also involves learning about products and safety procedures, helping with customer service in other areas as needed, and completing other tasks assigned by management. The work is performed in a fast-paced environment and may involve outdoor conditions and varying temperatures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Willingness to lift, climb, reach, twist, and bend, and to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Results-driven attitude and commitment to delivering great service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work hard as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with construction or building materials.
• Forklift experience; one or more years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find products and offer recommendations.
• Load customers’ purchases into vehicles and provide customer service.
• Check materials to ensure they are ready for quick, accurate deliveries.
• Load materials safely and pack items correctly for transport.
• Keep the yard organized and products easy to locate.
• Assist with deliveries, drive forklifts or company vehicles, and unload products.
• Keep up with training and learn about products and safety rules.
• Provide customer service in other areas as needed.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean.
• Assist with counting inventory to ensure stock levels are accurate.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
