Stock Keeper - SRC Logistics
About The Position
The Stock Keeper supports inventory operations at SRC Logistics. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and starts at $17.25 per hour. The work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled atmosphere, with possible exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. Employees must maintain knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements, follow safety standards, and wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas. The role requires frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, using and gripping the hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and communicating. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and may need to work at heights exceeding 15 feet.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Competent oral and written communication skills.
- Competent addition and subtraction math skills.
- Competent literacy skills to read tags without transposing part numbers.
- Ability to use scanners and other technology for inventory purposes.
- Powered Industrial Truck experience.
- Must not be afraid of heights and may be required to elevate to heights in excess of 15 feet.
- Must follow safety standards and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- Must demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including walking, standing, gripping, handling, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking and hearing.
