Stock Associate Starting at $18 Hourly
About The Position
As a Stock Associate, you will support the lifecycle of customers’ purchases by handling furniture deliveries and preparing items for display. You will help load customers’ purchases into their vehicles and maintain clean, organized backroom and sales-floor areas to support a positive shopping experience. The role requires following safety practices, communicating professionally, working independently and with a team, and routinely handling heavy furniture. Requirements
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and with a team.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Offload and load trailers of furniture to be assembled, arranged, and displayed on the showroom floor.
- Help customers load their purchases into their vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor.
- Follow the company's safety practices, promote safety awareness, and maintain a neat and safe work environment.
