About The Position

The Steward/Dishwasher supports the Food and Beverage and Culinary Team by washing and sanitizing dishes in accordance with health guidelines and maintaining kitchen and dining areas to the standards expected by Snake River Sporting Club. The role involves operating dishwashing equipment, manually washing kitchenware, keeping work areas clean and safe, and following health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment.
• Ensure all areas are free from debris and hazards.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
