POSITION SUMMARY The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen equipment, service ware, and back-of-house areas. This role supports kitchen efficiency by ensuring a continuous flow of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware during high-volume service periods.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and peak-event shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate dish machine safely and efficiently according to sanitation standards.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Maintain clean and organized dish and storage areas.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with light cleaning duties including floors, mats, drains, and surfaces.
- Support kitchen team during peak service with urgency and focus.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
