About The Position
The Sterilization Tech I supports surgical services by pulling surgical supplies and instruments for the surgical case load. The role is supervised by the Surgical Services Unit Charge Nurses and the Director of Surgical Services. Sterile processing national certification and current BCLS certification are required. Supply chain experience and advanced training are preferred. Marshall Medical Center South is a 150-bed hospital in Boaz, Alabama, and is part of Marshall Medical Centers, an affiliate of the Huntsville Hospital Health System. Marshall Medical Centers serves Marshall County and the surrounding area.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Sterile processing national certification required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Supply chain experience preferred.
- Advanced training preferred.
