About The Position

Snapology is seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM Enrichment Instructor to lead programs for children aged 3-14. This role focuses on teaching daytime (9 am - 2 pm) and after-school classes (2:30 pm - 5:30 pm), with opportunities to teach evening classes, workshops, camps, and custom events. The instructor will foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while educating students on STEAM concepts. This position requires collaboration with leadership and other instructors, as well as maintaining a high level of professionalism when interacting with parents and children.

Requirements

Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
Weekday availability to teach programs in West Chester, Liberty Township, Fairfield & Mason areas during the day and 2:30 to 5:30 pm timeframe at least 3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

Education degree or teaching experience recommended.
Teachers pursuing a degree in education will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Lead groups of up to 24 students through curriculum-guided activities.
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos, and participating in training sessions.
Participate in periodic Snapology training and staff meetings.
Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs.
Encourage students and parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs.
