About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM - After School Instructor to lead our K-5th grade students in STEM and Arts Programs. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in a fun and educational environment. Classes are typically 60-minute blocks and run between 3:50 PM and 6:00 PM on Mondays.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
- Knowledge and passion for STEAM and Arts subjects.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor or camp counselor.
- Background in education, child development, or a related field.
- Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and Arts Programs.
- Facilitate engaging and hands-on learning activities for K-5th grade students.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Prepare and organize materials for class sessions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program coordinators.
Benefits

- $100 for two classes per day
