About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and creative STEAM and ARTS After School Part Time Instructors to lead engaging classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The program runs Monday through Friday, with classes typically held between 3:15 pm and 4:15 pm. The position starts from September 1st.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5 age range.
- Passion for STEAM and ARTS education.
- Ability to manage a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Background in STEAM or Arts fields.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEAM and ARTS activities.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Engage students in hands-on projects and creative exploration.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
