About The Position
We are seeking passionate and energetic STEAM and ARTS After School Part Time Instructors to lead engaging classes for students in grades K-8. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $45 per hour of class, with additional compensation for mini camps, field trips, and other assignments.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-8 age range.
- Passion for STEAM and ARTS education.
- Ability to manage a classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to the site address in Orlando, FL 32819.
- Availability Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Background in STEAM or Arts fields.
- Experience with curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEAM and ARTS subjects for grades K-8.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Facilitate hands-on activities and projects.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
- Supervise students during program hours.
