About The Position

We are seeking passionate and energetic STEAM and ARTS After School Part Time Instructors to lead engaging classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The program runs Monday through Friday, with classes typically held between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm. The position starts on August 24th, and compensation is $45 per hour of class, with additional compensation for mini-camps and field trips.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a K-5 age range.
• Knowledge and passion for STEAM and ARTS subjects.
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be available Monday - Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
• Must be able to start on August 24th.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
• Background in education or a related field.
• Experience with curriculum development for children.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct students in STEAM and ARTS subjects for grades K-5.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Facilitate hands-on activities and projects.
