About The Position
We are seeking passionate and energetic Part-Time After School STEAM Instructors to lead engaging K-8th grade students in our STEAM program. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences and fostering a love for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Classes are held Tuesday-Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, starting August 18th. Compensation is $45 per hour of class.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in grades K-8.
- Passion for STEAM education.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage students.
- Reliable transportation to the Loxahatchee, FL site.
- Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a STEAM instructor.
- Knowledge of various STEAM curriculum.
- Background in education or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct K-8th grade students in STEAM-related activities.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences.

- Manage classroom behavior and ensure student safety.
- Prepare and organize materials for each class session.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
