About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead our Robotics program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment. The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
- Knowledge and passion for STEAM subjects, particularly Robotics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Background check required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in curriculum development for after-school programs.
- Familiarity with various robotics platforms and educational tools.
- Teaching certification or relevant degree in a STEAM field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in Robotics program activities.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with STEAM principles.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Facilitate hands-on projects and experiments.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
