About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Field Trip STEAM After School Instructor to lead our Makers Club program for students in grades K-8. This role involves facilitating hands-on STEAM activities and leading a field trip. The program is held on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a specific field trip on October 21st. The compensation is $50 per hour of class.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a K-8th grade setting.
• Knowledge and passion for STEAM education.
• Ability to plan and execute engaging activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to lead and supervise a field trip.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in leading field trips.
• Background in specific STEAM fields (e.g., robotics, coding, art, engineering).
• Teaching certification or relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) activities for K-8th grade students.
