STNA - State Tested Nursing Assistant - Full-Time Nights
About The Position
Carmel Manor is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for a full-time night position at its faith-based, nonprofit short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility. The facility is sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, and its mission is to treat staff and residents with love and respect. Night shifts are available from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pay is $20 to $25.50 per hour based on experience, plus hourly shift differentials. The STNA supports residents’ comfort and well-being by assisting with personal care, meals, mobility, and basic nursing tasks. Duties are performed with proper instruction and supervision. The listed responsibilities are a brief overview and are not all-inclusive. A criminal record check is required by state law as a condition of employment for this type of work.
Requirements
- Current certification in the State of Kentucky as a Nurse’s Aide.
- CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Answer resident signal lights.
- Bathe and dress residents and assist with personal hygiene.
- Provide hair and nail care and assist residents with dental hygiene.
- Serve and collect food trays, check diet orders, and feed residents as needed.
- Transport residents to and from the dining area.
- Make beds and change bed linen daily.
- Perform limited nursing procedures as outlined, with proper instruction and supervision.
- Take and record vital signs; measure and record intake and output; collect specimens; and perform other tasks.
