About The Position
CareCore at Westmoreland is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants to provide care to residents at its Chillicothe, Ohio location. The position is offered full time on the day shift, 6 a.m.–6 p.m., and PRN for all shifts. Full-time employees may receive attendance bonuses and shift differentials. Requirements
- Must be registered by the State of Ohio and hold an STNA Certificate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Candidates are subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and gentle handling for patients.
- Assist with transportation, meals, activities of daily living (ADLs), and transfers.
- Obtain vital signs and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff.
- Promote resident safety through proper use of call lights and side rails and by keeping floors dry.
- Follow universal precautions at all times.
