State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
About The Position
The State Tested Nursing Assistant provides a safe environment, emotional and social support, and care for residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility. The role performs direct care according to each resident’s care plan and as directed by the supervisor, follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies, and maintains the community’s established standards of practice. The employee also performs other duties as directed by community representatives. This is a full-time opportunity in Brecksville, Ohio, with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pay is based on experience. Requirements
- Have a current nursing assistant certification registry status in good standing under the applicable state laws, or otherwise meet state requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant.
- Have a high school diploma or GED, or be actively enrolled in a high school program.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with a safe environment and emotional and social support.
- Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility.
- Provide direct care according to residents’ care plans and supervisor direction.
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies.
- Maintain standards of practice established by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed by representatives of the community.
