About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) works under the direction of a Case Manager/DON and provides care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans, and as directed by nursing management. The STNA works with other licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate care and follows Company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The role involves working one-on-one with patients while collaborating with and receiving support from the patient care team.

Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance; must be willing to drive.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate daily with patient-care colleagues.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing certifications and further education.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans and as directed by nursing management.
