About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) works under the direction of a Case Manager/DON and provides care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and nursing-management direction. The STNA coordinates with other licensed care staff to ensure residents receive appropriate care and follows company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The role involves one-to-one work with patients, supported by a patient-care team, and requires the ability to work independently day to day.

Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance; must be willing to drive.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with care-team members.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned residents according to resident assessments and care plans, and as directed by nursing management.
• Coordinate with other licensed care staff to provide appropriate care to residents.

• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership in patient care.
