About The Position

Ian's Pizza is hiring State Team Members for its fast-paced, high-volume restaurant at 100 State St, Madison, Wisconsin. Depending on the position, team members may prepare and bake pizzas, deliver orders, serve customers, operate the register, prepare salads, or make dough and shred cheese. Team members keep work areas clean and stocked, complete shift checklists with the team, and help where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. The role offers transferable skills, tips, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, inclusive team environment. The restaurant is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Common shifts include lunch, dinner, and late-night shifts. A late-night shift from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. is required once per week, and evening and weekend availability is needed. Guaranteed minimum earnings are $16 per hour for Front of House, $18 per hour for Cooks, and $20 per hour for Delivery Drivers. If eligible pay components and tips total less than the applicable guaranteed minimum during a two-week pay period, Ian's covers the difference.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; IDs are required at orientation.
Able to stand and walk and be on one's feet for long periods.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly for Servers and up to 50 pounds for all other positions.
Able to work with common allergens, including gluten, dairy, and eggs.
Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and in a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Available to work a late-night shift from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. once per week.
Available for evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities

Prepare, stretch, toss, top, and bake pizzas, depending on the position.
Deliver customer orders, if working as a Driver.
Greet customers, serve slices, prepare salads, and operate the register, if working as a Server.
Mix, weigh, and form dough and shred cheese, if working on the Prep team.
Keep work areas clean and well-stocked.
Work with the team to complete shift checklists.
Pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
