Washington State University, External Affairs and Government Relations is hiring for a State Relations Administrative Assistant in Olympia, Washington. You will play a vital role as the primary administrative point of contact supporting the Senior Director of State Relations, Director of Seattle and Regional Relations, and Assistant Director of State Relations. In this position, you will manage complex and confidential matters while engaging with a wide range of internal and external partners, including WSU units across campuses statewide, as well as federal, state, county, and local government agencies and community stakeholders. You will contribute to the success of the State Relations and Seattle and Regional Relations offices by coordinating schedules, planning and facilitating legislative and stakeholder visits, preparing briefing materials, and managing calendars and travel logistics. Your work will also include processing reimbursements, assisting with budget tracking, supporting event planning and execution, and ensuring timely follow-up on stakeholder engagements. Additionally, you will help organize meetings and maintain accurate records of policy-related activities.
