The Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative Assistant in the Governmental Relations Department. This position reports to the Associate Executive Director of Governmental Relations and will be headquartered in IASB’s Lombard office. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Governmental Relations Department by aiding the team with core activities and providing administrative support to the Associate Executive Director and staff. Responsibilities include assisting with communications and publications, scheduling and organizing virtual and in person IASB meetings and events, organizing travel accommodations, filing IASB expense and other reports, managing legislative information and calendars, staffing Association committees, and communicating with school board members.
