About The Position

The Starbucks Team Lead creates the Starbucks Experience for Bashas' customers by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. The role requires a responsible, friendly person who can work safely in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

The Team Lead supports daily store operations, follows Bashas' and Starbucks policies and standards, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and helps train and coach team members. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are expected.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
• Able to safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health department requirements, and weights and measures requirements.
• Deliver customer service with a customer-first attitude, connect with customers, and discover and respond to their needs.
• Prepare and serve quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products consistently according to recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge in support of Bashas' and Starbucks' culture, values, and mission.
• Maintain a calm and welcoming presence during high-volume periods or unusual events, and keep the store environment clean and comfortable.
• Anticipate customer and store needs.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace so team members can locate inventory and products as needed.
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
• Assist with training new team members by reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful, encouraging coaching as needed.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
