About The Position

EG Group is hiring a Starbucks Shift Supervisor in Heath. The role involves preparing coffee, food, and beverages to brand standards, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining store quality, safety, and presentation. Working alongside the Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor helps keep daily operations running smoothly and takes ownership of shifts in the Store Manager’s absence, including making decisions and motivating colleagues. The role offers full-time, part-time, and flexible working options. Full-time hours are 25 or more per week, part-time hours are 8–24 per week, and flexible shifts are arranged around availability with a minimum of 8 hours per week. Full-time shifts average 8 hours. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy travel periods. The hourly rate is £13.55. As this is a food establishment, there may be potential exposure to allergens in the workplace.

Requirements

Experience in hospitality, retail, or a customer-focused environment.
A passion for excellent customer service and creating great experiences.
Confidence leading, motivating, and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude and the ability to make decisions and take ownership.
Strong communication and organisational skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, delegate tasks, motivate colleagues, and support their training and development.
Create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver outstanding customer service, helping customers discover products.
Assist the Store Manager with stock control, ordering, banking, and administration, and maintain accurate records.
Support food preparation and uphold food safety, health and safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
Maintain an inviting, vibrant, and well-presented store environment.
Set high standards, support the team during busy periods, and step in to keep operations running smoothly.
Prepare coffee, food, and beverages to brand standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
Take ownership of shifts in the Store Manager’s absence, making decisions and motivating the team.
