About The Position

The Stamp Operator operates stamping equipment and uses quality inspection tools to ensure parts meet standards and specifications. The role also involves entering part and inventory information into an ERP system, carrying out basic preventative maintenance and repairs, and following safety and environmental procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures when applicable. This is a second-shift position with a $4.00 shift premium and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work every day on time as scheduled.
• Communicate proficiently.
• Read and use quality tools accurately to ensure quality parts.
• Examine parts to verify that they meet standards and specifications and ensure product quality.
• Use a computer to enter part information and inventory into the ERP system.
• Load, set up, and operate stamping equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, repairs, and setup to keep the stamping press running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Execute the scheduling board.
• Use a motorized walking stacker.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
