About The Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for investigating product and process validity and quality in order to identify solutions to non-conformities related to production parts (non-conformities associated with assembly and/or supplier defects). You will interact daily with various teams, including Production, Quality, and Suppliers, and support our NGPF engine models.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools/applications (required)
  • Knowledge of problem-solving processes and methodologies (e.g., DIVE)
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engine Centre Quality team in managing supplier and assembly escapes, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in regular supplier issue reviews and complete management summaries while driving issue resolution
  • Collaborate in resolving assembly line issues by performing technical analyses and delivering comprehensive DIVE presentations
  • Analyze non-quality data and provide monthly reports outlining ongoing quality investigations, non-conformance management, and improvements within the Engine Centre
  • Participate in tactical quality clinics in collaboration with assemblers and the various Engine Centre support teams
