About The Position

CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking an organized, dependable, and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to manage daily and ongoing schedules for nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). The role supports appropriate staffing coverage in a fast-paced long-term care environment and works closely with nursing leadership. The Scheduling Coordinator helps the nursing team provide consistent, quality care to residents.

Nice To Haves

• STNA certification or LPN licensure preferred.
• Previous scheduling experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Previous nursing department or healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update schedules for RNs, LPNs, and STNAs.
• Coordinate staffing coverage for call-offs, vacations, open shifts, and other scheduling needs.
• Monitor daily staffing levels and work with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Communicate scheduling changes and updates to nursing staff and management.
• Track employee availability, time-off requests, and scheduling preferences.
• Assist with identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation.
• Work with the Director of Nursing and other department leaders to address staffing needs.
• Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
