About The Position

The (USA) Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This position leads technical execution aligned with strategic roadmaps, applies cloud-native architecture principles, and integrates AI/ML components to enhance automation and product innovation. The role involves mentoring engineers, influencing architectural decisions, collaborating across teams, and continuously improving engineering practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions that meet business objectives and support long-term sustainability. Requirements

• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
• Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
• Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
• Ability to integrate AI/ML components and develop intelligent automation using languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
• Demonstrated skills in debugging, problem solving, and data-driven decision making to optimize engineering outcomes.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to engineering excellence through continuous improvement, innovation, and technical mentorship.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• Creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
