About The Position

HubSync is an AI-enabled workflow platform for CPA firms that consolidates tools for engagement letters, data collection, organizers, document exchange, e-signature, e-filing, payments, and analytics. The company is scaling its product organization as its platform is adopted by leading CPA firms. The Staff / Senior Staff Product Manager bridges complex tax and workflow needs with technical product execution. The role owns a product area end to end, including defining what to build and why, setting priorities, managing delivery, and deciding whether work is ready to ship. The product leader manages and defends a quarterly roadmap using RICE prioritization, authors clear PRDs, maintains sprint discipline, and aligns engineering, design, quality engineering, customer success, and executive stakeholders. The role partners with Customer Success to turn recurring customer requests and escalations into product improvements, works jointly with Quality Engineering to ensure acceptance criteria are met, and leads product-owner checkpoints, executive updates, sprint reviews, and customer calls. HubSync expects product decisions and delivery practices to be documented, evidence-based, and consistently followed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Experience influencing across multiple teams, driving outcomes rather than output, and solving ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Active use of AI tools for research, PRD drafting, customer-call synthesis, and prototyping.
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to create PRDs that engineering and QA can build and test without additional clarification meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in tax, accounting, professional services, or complex workflow automation software.

  • Lead sprint reviews with live demos and provide clear, accurate release notes.
  • Partner with Customer Success to translate recurring requests and escalations into product improvements.
  • Drive product quality jointly with Quality Engineering and ensure acceptance criteria are satisfied before shipping.

  • Record go-live decisions against PRD acceptance criteria and supporting evidence.
