Staff Product Manager

Ashby•,
•$220,000 - $280,000

About The Position

Ashby is hiring multiple Product Managers who will report directly to the VP of Product. Depending on the candidate’s fit, the role will focus on Outbound Sourcing, Product Platform, or AI Platform. Product Managers own the roadmap and strategy for their area and aim to remove customer frustration and create delightful product experiences. They work closely with engineers who understand customer and business problems and own solutions end to end, giving PMs room to focus on customer research, product thinking, and strategy rather than detailed specifications. The Outbound Sourcing area will build a platform through which teams can hire sourcing agents from Ashby. The Product Platform area will establish a team responsible for shared building blocks, foundational capabilities, and APIs that help product teams move quickly. The AI Platform area includes the Ashby Assistant, Ashby MCP, and shared AI capabilities such as memory and context. Product Managers are expected to understand customers deeply, deliver impactful improvements, maintain product quality, set a strategy and roadmap for the next 6–18 months, and keep engineering unblocked. They conduct research, synthesize customer feedback and competitive information, scope and drive projects, navigate technical tradeoffs and risks, and collaborate with go-to-market teams on launch needs such as pricing, marketing, and customer support. The role emphasizes ownership, reliable follow-through, clear written communication, urgency, and platform thinking. Ashby describes its product as an all-in-one, best-in-class talent platform designed for organizations ranging from startups to large enterprises. Its product approach balances reusable platform capabilities, enterprise customization, and ease of use. The company reports year-over-year growth above 100% and names Notion, Linear, OpenAI, Shopify, and Snowflake among its customers. The interview process consists of a 30-minute introductory call, a 45-minute product experience deep dive, a one-hour product exercise, and a two-hour final round focused mostly on cross-functional interviews. Ashby aims to respond to applicants within 2–3 days.
