About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings, collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. As part of a High Reliability Organization, the role requires focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as applicable to the population or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions, based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals.
• Revise the plan of care based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Carry out operational responsibilities.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
