About The Position
This position provides general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing patient health status, identifying outcomes and planning nursing interventions, implementing and evaluating care, and revising plans of care with the multidisciplinary team. The position also participates in process improvement and operational responsibilities, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization. Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Field of study: Nursing.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments appropriate to the population or individual.
- Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
- Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
- Revise the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team based on evaluative data.
- Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Perform operational responsibilities.
- Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
