About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making with patients, families, and the health care team. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, and plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role works collaboratively with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is based at Toledo Hospital in the Acute G5 department, with 36 weekly hours on the night shift.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR training.
- Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
- Ohio RNs must complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
