About The Position

As the Offsite Registered Cardiac Sonographer, you perform cardiac imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures, including cardiac stress testing and applying and processing Holter/event monitors. You serve as a resource for other technologists and hospital staff. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, on the day shift at Toledo Hospital’s Cardiac Testing Center. The position qualifies for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology with clinical coursework in cardiac imaging, or two years of experience in a non-invasive cardiology lab with a focus in cardiac imaging.
• Ability to perform a complete echocardiogram using an approved protocol.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential or registry eligibility through ARDMS or CCI.
• Pass the required exam within one year, or obtain an approved extension from the department leader and HR.
• BLS.
