About The Position

Nuro is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join their Product Team. This role is responsible for building products that enhance the company's operations for their Autonomous Vehicles, ensuring safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. The Product Manager will drive high-impact initiatives and collaborate closely with various departments including Operations, Design, Engineering, Strategy, Business Development, and Legal.

  • Influential communicator: skilled at collecting input from and presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact initiatives.
  • Work closely with Operations, Design, Engineering, Strategy, Business Development, and Legal.
  • Empathize with users and deeply understand their workflows.
  • Inform the product roadmap by prioritizing and defining products needed to operate a safe and efficient commercial service.
  • Lead the team to define, design, and develop innovative solutions that give the Operations Team “superpowers”.
  • Influence the number of operators needed to operate each vehicle through step-change products.
  • Define and communicate product goals, requirements, and constraints.
  • Surface problems and dig-in to fully understand the root cause.
  • Source and synthesize feedback from internal experts and experiments for incorporation into solutions.
  • Define success, measure progress, and implement creative tactics to push the pace.
