About The Position

Join Analog Devices’ product engineering team driving next-generation RF transceiver technologies. The Staff Product Engineer evaluates, characterizes, and ensures the performance of advanced mixed-signal ICs and transceiver systems. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on laboratory experience, and collaboration across design, test, applications, and marketing teams. The engineer leads evaluation and characterization of ADCs, DACs, high-speed serial interfaces, and RF systems; debugs and analyzes complex systems; performs functional and performance testing of new silicon and embedded software; and develops automated test solutions. The position also supports production readiness, testability, manufacturability, qualification, field quality, customer issue resolution, and system-level solutions for transceiver products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of industry experience in RF/mixed-signal product engineering.
  • Expertise in automating RF tests and using advanced lab equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills in Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW, with familiarity with C/C++ or similar languages.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and RF circuits, high-speed serial interfaces, ADCs/DACs, and mixed-signal systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead evaluation and characterization of ADCs, DACs, high-speed serial interfaces, and RF systems for transceiver products.
  • Debug and analyze complex mixed-signal and RF systems across operating conditions, and document and present findings to design and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform functional and performance testing of new silicon and embedded software to ensure readiness for production release.
  • Develop and automate RF and mixed-signal verification test solutions using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and other programming tools.
  • Use precision measurement equipment to establish RF, analog, and digital performance metrics.
  • Recommend improvements for testability, manufacturability, and qualification readiness, and support field quality initiatives.
  • Serve as a central resource for design, applications, and marketing teams, and engage with customers to resolve product issues.
  • Analyze measurement data and contribute to system-level solutions for transceiver products.
