About The Position

The Staff Physician delivers comprehensive primary care services to participants in AltaMed’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The physician plays a central role on the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), providing high-quality, patient-centered, regulatory-compliant care. Care is delivered in multiple settings, including PACE centers, participants’ homes, virtual consultations, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The physician manages a defined panel of participants, promotes wellness, prevents illness, and coordinates care with specialists and IDT members.

Requirements

• Board-certified and eligible Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license issued by the Medical Board of California.
• Previous experience with computer-based systems.
• Current DEA license.
• Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
