About The Position

Mercy Medical Group – Folsom, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care at its new clinic in Folsom, California. The role is within a physician-led, patient-centered, multi-specialty group serving the Greater Sacramento region, with a collaborative care model and support systems intended to promote physician well-being and positive patient outcomes. The physician will provide direct patient care in collaboration with two experienced internists and an Advanced Practice Provider. The modern clinic offers on-site diagnostic and imaging services. The position includes an approximately twice-monthly telephone call schedule, a 24-hour advice nurse, and hospitalist coverage available around the clock. A shareholder-track opportunity is available to eligible new hires. The position offers a two-year income guarantee of $300,000–$320,000, full benefits, a CME allowance, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, a 401(k) with employer match, and an employer-funded pension plan. The opportunity is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine through ABMS or AOA.
Active or eligible for a California state medical license.
DEA certification.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Strong clinical skills and commitment to internal medicine.
Ability to manage a diverse patient panel.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care and direct patient care to a diverse patient panel.
Collaborate with two experienced internists and an Advanced Practice Provider in the clinic.
Contribute to the growth and success of the Folsom clinic.
Participate in an approximately twice-monthly telephone call schedule.
