About The Position
The Staff Physician delivers comprehensive primary care services to participants in AltaMed’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The provider is a central member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), ensuring high-quality, patient-centered, and regulatory-compliant care. Care is provided in multiple settings, including the PACE center, participants’ homes, virtual consultations, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). The physician manages a defined panel of participants, promotes wellness, prevents illness, and coordinates care with specialists and IDT members.
Requirements
- Board-certified and board-eligible primary care physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
- Active, unrestricted California medical license issued by the Medical Board of California.
- Previous experience with computer-based systems.
- Current DEA license.
- Valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
