About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will help deliver accessible, high-quality health care and provide compassionate care to patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and help manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow. You will also support the adoption and management of patient care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy. This is a part-time position with 29 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Support the management, oversight, and operation of the pharmacy.
• Oversee patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Support customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs.
• Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments, addressing development opportunities, and reducing knowledge gaps.
• Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Implement solutions and lead the team toward specified goals.
• Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with others and seek ways to deliver better outcomes.
