Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting/financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting, PCAOB, and SOX standards
  • Proficient in Excel, including vlookups, SumIF, IFAND, and pivot tables
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and FloQast
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Teamwork mindset
  • Demonstrate and maintain a committed work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned accounting responsibilities daily
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Create and enter journal entries into our accounting platform, complete account reconciliations, and manage select ledger accounts across multiple entities
  • Analyze general ledger transactions and accounts, using technical judgment, to ensure that financial transactions are recorded
  • Assist the team with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
  • Prepare information for and assist with financial audits and reviews
  • Help develop internal processes to improve the financial reporting process
  • Keep and maintain organized records
  • Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative office responsibilities
  • Gain quickly a familiarity and working knowledge of our general ledger systems
  • Work with other departments to determine workflows and resolve issues
  • Assist Accounting Lead and Accounting Manager with monthly close process
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis including potential for inter-departmental and vendor related projects
  • Work Independently and Collaboratively
